Tucked along the tranquil coast of Ocoa, Villa Marena is a contemporary retreat where architecture and landscape merge in quiet harmony. Designed with a tropical modern language, the home features generous overhangs, operable wooden screens, and a palette of natural textures that respond to the site’s sun, sea breeze, and rhythm of coastal life.
The L-shaped layout maximizes views and privacy while embracing an open-air lifestyle. A central pool court anchors the ground floor, where indoor and outdoor spaces dissolve into one another — ideal for both solitude and gatherings. Above, shaded terraces and glass-enclosed suites offer sweeping views of the ocean horizon.
Villa Marena was envisioned not just as a home, but as a restorative sanctuary — rooted in the Dominican Republic’s vernacular elements and reinterpreted through a clean, modern lens.
